It's been a busy and productive start to 2026, and we wanted to share with you some of the brand new value and experiences we've brought to ReelFlow these past months. Let's get to it!
Performance Metrics
We started the year designing and refining a completely new Performance Metrics dashboard for assessing Flow performance, and launched it to all customers at the end of February.
The new dashboard replaced the old one with a fresh set of metric definitions – more accurate Watch Time calculations. We added a date-picker for viewing custom date ranges, and customers can now customise which columns they see in the Performance table. This preference is remembered every time you return to the page.
The Flow Summary was also updated to reflect these numbers, with options to view button clicks as counts or percentages.
Flow Builder
Our Flow Builder is where you build your interactive video Flows.
Here, to assist smooth Publishing, we have added new pre-flight checks to ensure your Install Code is working. Now when you try to publish a new Overlay or Inline Player to a page that already has one, we'll let you know to avoid accidental Flow clashes.
Flow Preview was improved; we added a QR code for an easier and faster way to get to testing your Flow on mobile.
Caption editing got undo/redo support (Cmd+Z/Shift+Z), and URL autocomplete was added so customers can pick from known page URLs already in their Workspace, rather than having to remember them and type them out from scratch each time. A log of key moments in the Flow lifecycle is now visible on the Flow Overview.
Multilingual captions launched in June: with dozens of languages supported and transcription for same-language videos and translation for cross-language.
Customers can set their preferred language in Workspace Settings, and the upload screen now shows which language will be used before uploading.
Video Stand-ins
Our Video Stand-in functionality allows our customers to securely create realistic new video content of you or a colleague talking to camera using the power of AI avatar technology. The quality of our Stand-in videos has significantly improved these last few months; we launched support for HeyGen v3, v4, and then v5 avatars, enabling the most up-to-date and lifelike video generation available.
Also, we added a way to preview and confirm audio selection before committing to generating the video, reducing mistakes where someone might accidentally generate a video with the wrong audio.
Dashboard, Video & Workspace Management
We added Usage reporting, and for customers who are on subscriptions, ways to manage their plans themselves inside the new Organization Management Console.
We continue to make regular improvements to usability; Flow naming is now cleaner, navigation in and around the Flow Builder is more obvious, and the experience on mobile more refined.
We've added a quick-to-scan QR code in the Library for handing off and making mobile uploads easier and faster. We also added dedicated installation guides for WordPress, Webflow, and HubSpot.
Archive/Unarchive for Flows shipped in June — to help keep your Workspace tidy, Flows can be hidden without deleting, and can be brought back at any time.
Our Onboarding Checklist launched in March — a guided first-run experience for new users to help them get to grips with setting up and building Flows in ReelFlow.
Player
The Inline Player got new Video Fit modes to support landscape-formatted video more nicely, and, finally, the Player now auto-rewinds when a visitor unmutes it, so they don't miss the first few seconds of audio.
Player styling preferences (colours, button styles, eyecatcher position etc.) were added into Workspace Settings so customers no longer need to contact support to set up or change these values.
Our UTM Outbound Attribution feature was turned on for all Workspaces in May, so all button clicks from the Player are automatically trackable in GA, HubSpot, etc. without customers needing to do anything extra.
We also made a number of significant under-the-hood reliability improvements to support smoother visitor experiences. We reduced file sizes, added technology layers to reduce the burden on website loading, and improved SEO/AEO discoverability. Further structured data was added to Flows alongside video transcripts, to improve search engine indexability.
Keep up to date with it all
One last thing to mention, we recently added our Release Notes to the website, so should you want to see what we've been building as we do it, you can follow along there.
We also now send occassional product round-ups via email. If you'd be interested in being included, or just have thoughts you'd like to share, drop us an email at product.feedback@reelflow.com.
